Livestreaming...to the point of pure boredom

Yes, I've recorded over 30 minutes of footage with LiveStream Procaster today and I went a logged into my profile to see if the video was available to watch.

Thankfully, it is there but sadly, I can't sit through it. It's soooooooo boring. Pfft. Painting and coloring in Photoshop is one thing but having to watch what I just did almost makes me lose a lot of needed motivation.

Motivation is what I need to finish Bumblebee. I've got until the 15th of December to finish it, then it's off to Florida for Christmas. I got the printer to work here at home so now I don't have to waste valuable money at Wal-Mart just to have these gifts printed.

Right now, I'm eating lunch, tasty lunch and I think it'll give me a mighty boost to get this last picture done.

What the heck is going on?

Well, I'll tell you.

First off, I started a club back in November and then later applied for a group conversion and it was approved. APPROVED!!!! Right now, it's desperately seeking new members. LOTS OF MEMBERS! So, be sure to stop by, check it out and join.

There will be contests and projects and extra flipnote goodies.

Secondly, I'm also co-founder over at another group. #keiichianimeforever

Seriously, two groups? Yes. Seriously. I can handle it.

They're looking for members too. If you're into anime and such, that's basically what keiichianimeforever covers. ALL THINGS ANIME! Keep in mind though, that the #keiichianimeforever group is also linked to an online forum community, KeiichiAnimeForever.com. A lot of web goodies will be posted into the KAF gallery periodically.

CHRISTMAS

I'm heading out next week for Florida and I'll be gone until December 28th. I'm bringing plenty of paper with me for requests, so even if I said I was sticking strictly to digital sketches, look for a massive traditional sketch upload. There might even be chances that I'll end up coloring some of them too. Ooo.

Groups is here...and I want to party!

Well, I did mention that I'd be starting a club and since I've already signed up that account on deviantART, I thought it would be cool to announce that I'll be applying to convert it to a group the first of the year.

The only issue I'm having now is members. There aren't any members and I thought it would be cool to recruit a bunch before the official groups launch. If you become a member, you won't be able to upload any of your Flipnotes until after the club is converted. In the process, I'll be updating journals and whatnot with a bunch of helpful information.

The club may seem dead now, but with the holidays fast approaching, all I can do now is plan.

If you don't know what the heck Flipnote is, it's a free program that runs on the Nintendo DSi. It would appear that this club only focuses on DSi users with Flipnote Studio but that's not always the case. If you want to join the club and don't have a DSi or have access to one, I can also accept Flash animation and .gifs that are in the "Flipnote" formate (i.e...size and quality, blah blah blah).

So, if you want to join, please do and tell your Flipnote friends about it too. I'll also be posting a Flipnote announcement about it on Flipnote Hatena as well.

AWA - Artist Alley (Updates)

I changed the list, so much so that I decided to re-post it. I've added things and I've taken things away (ex: pins and keychains). Hopefully this new list will lighten the load and the budget. I don't want a supply list that's too pricey. I still have to get loads of zip bags for prints, chipboards and over 100 sketch cards. I thank the Blick Art Supply store on the interwebz. They make everything easier.

AWA - Artist Alley

I've gone through my brain a million times today, wondering if it's worth it to get my own table at Anime Weekend Atlanta in September. If I do, then expect to see some commission info after the first of the year. I'm being serious, folks. If I really want to do this whole artist alley deal, I have to work my butt off.

That includes the requests. I know I have put them on hold (for the time being at least) but once the holidays are over, expect some serious massive uploads. Don't expect to see preliminary sketches all the time either. If I feel like coloring it, I WILL COLOR IT! Then and there.

So, what I'm really asking you folks is this; should I really get a table at AWA? It's obvious that anime art would be the main focus but according to the AWA Artist Alley rules, only %50 of our work is allowed to be fan art. The other half of the work HAS to be original. If I could do a poll, I would but comments on this journal will just have to do. Comment away!

Lost my journal skin...wah

Well, I thought I was going to be able to keep it but apparently that isn't so. Hopefully I'll have a new subscription after Christmas, if all things work according to plan.

Christmas vacation....in FLORIDA

I'm heading down to Florida for Christmas this year with the fams. So, that means I won't be anywhere near the internet for an entire week. Boo. But, I'll bring plenty of paper with me to sketch out some requests.

Oh, and I've been informed that I have to spend the day at the mall the day AFTER Christmas. Wish me luck!
